Product review: Lipcote The original lipstick sealer

Hey Guys!

welcome back to my blog!

for today's blog post I will be doing another product review, I will be doing this review on a lipstick sealer by the name of 'lipcote'.

Lets get started!

Firstly, The Product doesn't even work! It stings once you put it on and doesn't completely set the lipstick. When you put it on and let it dry some wet lipstick still remains.

the instructions are to:
  1.  Apply lipstick,
  2. blot with a tissue (repeat)
  3.  finish with a sweep of Lipcote on top
I took the time to do ALL of these steps that it says on the packaging and my lipstick was faded by the end of a full day at college! Even though i ate i expected it to stay on the whole college day which was 4 hours and 50 minutes long (which is not much to ask for since it is supposed to be 'Long lasting')This 'Long lasting' lipstick sealer does not live up to my expectations whatsoever!

Straight after i put the lipcote on:

At the end of college:

another thing is, it dries my lips. I used a lipstick that never has once dried my lips all the times I have used it and when the lipcote had been on my lips for at least 2 hours it began to dry my lips and flake my lipstick.

I applied the lipcote at home once again to see if I had got it wrong and  my lipstick was actually in tact, but once I had finished my dinner, my lipstick had in fact rubbed off.

After dinner:

I must say I am really disappointed with this product as I spent £3.69 on it, in boots and it is a complete and utter waste of time and money!

That's All!

thanks for stopping by!

Love Chrissy x
